Tulle Never Looked So Smart
I’ve been slacking on my blog posts, but I haven’t stopped sewing! So here’s a tulle skirt I made back in January. I used this tutorial from cotton & curls blog. Check it out! I didn’t attach my lining quite like the tutorial suggests, but otherwise it’s the same. Look at Danielle rock in a stellar smart way!
To achieve this look, I used a combination of dark grey and light grey tulle with two alternating layers of each, for a total of four layers. The lining is a light grey/silver polyester lining. I used a rolled/narrow hem foot to get the narrow hem. This skirt falls just above the knee and was so fun to shoot and wear!
Check out the back:
This skirt was paired with a gingham checked shirt from United Colors of Benetton, Aubergine cardigan from Ann Taylor, Chloe Shades, and Black Pumps from Steve Madden.
